Removing “Barriers” to a Career that leads to more than just a living wage. The unemployment rate in California may be slowing decreasing but finding a quality career with good pay can still be difficult. With the cost of living, insurance, utilities and other personal necessities, a minimum wage job may not cover expenses.
Good jobs can require education, skills and training. Community Programs Workforce was created to help individuals in California gain the necessary tools, skills and training to get hired and thrive in a wonderful career.

Pathways not Barriers
G.A.I.N California, Community Programs, Workforce is committed to Californians and will work to assist those who are socially and economically challenged: by creating PATHWAYS, like; after school tutoring in math and science; career fairs and youth summer jobs.
Acquiring these professional skill-sets will not only prepare California ‘s for employment opportunities they can be proud of but, it will also build and improve one’s individual character, self-confidence levels and equip them to be California Tax paying citizens.

Barriers to Pathways
Our partnership with California (1) Los Angeles County Consumer and Business Affairs, (2) WDACS, Workforce Development, Aging & Community Services, (3) Los Angeles County Workforce Vendor (SE) Social Enterprise will allow us to provide medical coding vocational training to equip students to work in healthcare facilities, mentorships to work in the aerospace industry, housing assistance for low income families who struggle with stable housing and community programs.
